david + jhenifer

Here are some pictures from Jhenifer & David's wedding at the St. James Community Square and then onto the Theas Lounge at UBC (Student Graduate Hall). Jhenifer and David hired me just for their flowers and a wee bit of decor.

I am so lucky to work with so many different people with such unique styles. Makes my job fun and exciting!

butterfly gardens

On our last visit to Victoria we stopped in at the Butterfly Gardens. Chloe and Deli loved it - I was a little nervous with some of the butterflys the size of small birds. Yikes! It was pretty cool though. Chloe especially liked the ducks...not sure if they appreciated her though. Here are some pics.

deli's 1year birthday

In between the 3 weddings we had on the Island last week-end we (mainly the very pregnant, with twins, Jen) managed to have a 1 year birthday party for Delphine. Here is a picture of the birthday girl and her cousin Chloe. So ceeeeute!

long time no blog

So, we took a wee break from the blogging, but we're back! Seems like the summer has flown by with loads of weddings and summer vacationing. Here are some pictures of the last few weddings.

This was a wedding where I just did the flowers for - Erica of White Dahlia Weddings did the planning with the bride, Alisha. This wedding took place at The Hart House on August 2nd.

Here is Candice & Morgan - this intimate affair took place at the beautiful resort called Tigh-na-mara on Vancouver Island overlooking the ocean on August 15th. We transformed the meeting room into a cool elegant lounge by pipe and draping the walls in black and highlighting everything with the pink Stargazer Lilies. Fuego (me) did the flowers and Lance at Concept Photography took the pictures (not the ones below...his will be MUCH better then mine).

This is Erin & Scott who tied the knot last night at the Coal Harbour Community Centre. We had the cermeony at the city park above the centre...although we weren't really allowed to, but it all worked out perfect (I thought anyway)! Fuego (me) did the flowers and decor and Chef Claire looked after the amazing (as usual) food and service.
