My favorite thing to do on a pretty morning is to pack the kid and dog up to go to the doggy beach behind Park Royal. Here are some pics to share from this morning...

Here is Gussie in his glory.

This is what was left of Gussie's ball.

Birdie Sleeping?

We would like to introduce Chloe's new best friend (sorry Gussie) - Birdie. Birdie is a little bird who chirps and twitches its beak and tail...I think, well I pretty much know that Chloe thinks it's real. Thankfully for mommy...it's not.

It's the only thing Chloe is really gingerly with.

She even gives the birdie little kisses on it's beak.

When we put Birdie away, we say "Birdie Sleeping". When Chloe wakes up in the morning she says (very clearly) "Birdie Sleeping???". So cute - it's my fav thing she says now.

crafty girls

We decided this past weekend to get crafty and chose to spiff up some plain kids clothes. We bought some inexpensive duds and some felt and got to work. Here are some photos of the finished projects. Surprise surprise we ended up with birds (Erin's attempt at trying to get over her bird phobia) and whales (somehow i always end up with the marine mammal theme). They worked out well but not sure how well they'll hold up in the wash. Anyways, a fun and inexpensive (under $5 including clothes on sale) thing to do on a west coast winter day.

We're Back

We are back after a long break from the blog. We promise to fill you in on all of our exciting and fast times of the fuego mamas (well we think they are exciting times).

A few weeks ago the Vic gang came over to the big city and we took the girls to the Aquarium...fun times...temper tantrums...and lots of fish.

I (erin) am in Victoria visiting with Jen, Brent and Delphine...oh yes, and the dogs. We went swimming yesterday and our girls are natural little swimmers.
